Established for seven years The Design Fly is a marketing, design and development agency. Specialising in bespoke web development for the internet, we also have wide experience in handling email and marketing campaigns and are well versed in the techniques surrounding Search Engine Optimisation. We control and manage our own servers, which enables us to provide a SPAM free email service and ensure we can keep all the components necessary to assist with the technicalities of the requirements of the websites and applications that we develop.

After graduating from University in 1995, Matthew started his career at the BBC in Manchester as a junior designer. Designing for both print and broadcast media, he gained valuable experience in the conception and delivery of complete campaigns. After a spell working as a freelance director, (which included directing pop promos for Warner Bros); Matthew worked for an IT company in a team that undertook bespoke application and web development. It was here that he met Abraham Spain and The Design Fly was incorporated.

Abraham has always had a keen interest in programming and computing. Starting his career as a junior developer for an IT development firm in Manchester, Abe has very quickly improved his skill set. Abe has an excellent understanding of VB, ASP, HTML, D-HTML, and Flash amongst his arsenal of programming abilities. Abe is the company’s first port of call when it comes to all things technical and his knowledge is the key to The Design Fly’s engine room.

The Design Fly has a revolving door policy of highly skilled individuals whom they rely on for specialist jobs. We have a fleet of IT gurus, network creators, Flash specialists, photographers, editors, programmers and designers who contribute to specific requirements of any particular project. Our close and special understanding means our stellar squad can tackle the most intricate of briefs.
